Who Are Spiderman's Worst Enemies?

When talking about Spiderman, who is of course a superhero, one cannot miss mentioning the villains, since no hero is one if he/she has no enemies. Spiderman, surely lacks no enemies. On the contrary, he has dozens of villains who have made his life, and the life of the world he swore to protect, endangered.

If the top of the nemesis list is to be created, the last place would be reserved for the Scorpion. This villain is a direct product of the madness of J. Jonah Jameson’s obsession with Spiderman. Namely, he hired a detective named Gargan to be a part of an experiment where special powers will be granted to him, so that he could be on equal grounds with our hero. Yet, Gargan lost his mind and turned on its very creator, Mr. Jameson.

Logically, next, as we climb our way up on the list, is J. Jonah Jameson himself. This person has made the life of both Spiderman and Peter Parker miserable so many times. Being a constant pest wanting Spiderman on a plate, he used everything he could against him, up to the extent of hiring villains who would fight against our hero.

Next, there is Jackal, a mad scientist who, obsessed with Gwen Stacy cloned both her and Spiderman. Moreover, he even went even farther and hired Punisher only to get hold of our friendly neighbor.

After Jackal, comes the Kingpin, being one of the greatest masterminds who worked against Spiderman. A more physical opponent was the Lizard who gave our Spidey quite some hard time.

Reaching the more dangerous part of the scale, Carnage must be mentioned. In fact, Carnage, being a symbiote of Venom and Cletus Kasady, a serial killer, he is incomparably stronger than Spiderman. Amazingly, his power even surpasses that of Venom!

As we get closer to the top, there is the Sandman, a person with extraordinary sand-controlling abilities, who made our hero’s life miserable many times. Next is Doctor Octopus, Spidey’s long-term nemesis and one of the oldest ones.

Finally, number two goes out to the Green Goblin, also being one of the oldest villains in the series. Of course, Venom is the number one, being a symbiote of Parker’s old job rival, incomparably stronger opponent, impossible to beat.
