Spiderman 3 Sandman's Tower: A Fun, Fast-Paced and Sneaky Game
Spiderman 3 Sandman's Tower is more intense and faster-paced game among other Spiderman 3 games that features Spiderman. It revolves around climbing buildings with Spiderman and your job is to make sure that Spiderman survives the trip to the top of the building. Random obstacles and super villains will stop at nothing to hinder Spiderman’s attempts to reach the top of the building.
Spiderman 3 Sandman's Tower features great visuals. Spiderman is well-drawn and animated very well. The building, environment and environmental hazards are all life-like and make the Spider man game even more enjoyable. The super villains look impressive and they make you do your very best to avoid tangling with them. When super villains get a hold of Spiderman, you are shown a quick art of them beating up Spiderman, which not only surprises you but also makes you realize that fighting super villains is futile and it is best to avoid them and be on your way up.
The controls are simple to master. You only use the keyboard to control Spiderman’s movements. Spiderman himself will move upwards on his own, so you don’t have to worry about doing that yourself. The left and right arrows on the keyboard moves Spiderman in the appropriate direction. By holding down the space bar and pressing the left or right arrows, Spiderman will shoot his web in those directions, mostly to pick up power ups that are out of his reach.
The sound effects are very good in this game. Hearing Spiderman shoot his web makes you feel as if you have the power to shoot webs yourself. You will feel Spiderman’s pain as he runs into dangerous obstacles and super villains as well. The music extends a feeling of urgency and makes you want to get past that stage as quickly as possible.

Spiderman 3 Sandman's Tower is all about climbing buildings with Spiderman. You are treated to an introduction in a comic-like fashion that tells you the story. Basically, there is a fission bomb above a certain building and Spiderman has about 7 minutes to reach the top and disarm it. Along the way, there are hazardous obstacles that will damage and slow down Spiderman’s progress. Even super villains, such as Sandman, Venom, Rhino and Doctor Octopus make appearances throughout the game to harass Spiderman. Fortunately, Spiderman has many tools up his sleeves. Spiderman can rotate between different sides of the building to avoid potential harm, so you are not only limited to one side. Spiderman can shoot webs left and right to pick up power ups that are out of his reach. There are plenty of power ups to get such as extra points, extra time, extra life and a powerful power up that makes Spiderman temporarily invincible, which allows him to beat up the bad guys instead of just avoiding them most of the time. Spiderman’s spider senses power are shown at the top left and right of the screen which basically shows you potential hazards ahead of time, which can be an invaluable tool in your progress.
Spiderman 3 Sandman's Tower is a fun, fast-paced game centered around sneaking through hazards. Climbing buildings has never been so satisfying with Spiderman and you will certainly like this game.
