Spiderman City Raid Game Review
Screenshot From the whole plethora of awesome Spiderman games, here comes another one which is bound to get you addicted. Namely, this game, Spiderman City Raid is quite a unique interpretation of our friendly neighbor’s lifestyle and everyday activities in general. Roaming through the streets of some unknown city, your main mission is to help Spidey reach the other side, avoiding various obstacles which are there to make your life significantly hard.
A unique aspect of this game is the gameplay itself. Most Spider-man games will require you to find certain villains and make them pay for their mischievous acts by punching justice into their faces and delivering webs of conviction. However, Spiderman City Raid is a bit different. Well, actually, it’s a lot different.
In Spiderman City Raid, our hero, for some strange reason looks quite limp, collapsing onto the ground in a corpse-like manner, if you allow this to happen, of course. Thus, you need to prevent your ever-walking Spiderman from reaching one of many gaps and pits, since this will end your game session.
Yet, controls are not standard. Most of us have got used to the typical ASDYZXC buttons, combined with the space button, as far as controls are concerned. Spiderman City Raid does not follow this pattern as well, remaining genuine and unique in this respect as well. In City Raid game, you will need to use your mouse in order to control the hero, aiming for girders, balls or other safe spots floating in the air, keeping Spiderman safe from harm, which is falling though the terminating depths of the game.
All in all, Spiderman City Raid is all about skills and survival in general. Stay sharp, keep Spidey in the air and never give up until you reach the other side. Even though the plot may seem simple and easy to manage, it is nothing of that sort. Spiderman City Raid provides hours of fun, if you are willing to master it.
Some of the main flaws of this game are directed towards music and graphics. Even though the music is fine and fits the tense atmosphere game can deliver, it nevertheless has nothing to do with neither the game nor the movie. Perhaps they should have used a song or two from the soundtrack, bringing Spiderman to life even more.
As for the graphics, it is cute and more than good enough to keep you going. Spiderman City Raid looks quite simple, but the emphasis is on the gameplay, not on the graphics. Thus, if you want to have fun and enjoy an original, new game, make sure you give this Spidey game a try.
